Take Photoshoot in New Brunswick

One of the unique and sometimes unknown things about Take Consulting – and the Kate Whitfield and Claire Basinski  journey - is that they had only met a couple of times virtually before taking the leap to work together.

Based on feedback from colleagues and clients it was clear – the partnership is strong and magnetic.

While working together day to day, Take Consulting is based in different geographies – Kitchener, ON for Claire and Ottawa, ON for Kate. This means that it takes time and effort to be together and to intentionally capture moments of connection. While much of a new businesses’ daily life is about proposals, projects, partners and clients, it is important to make the time to create a clear and compelling identity that can be shared with past and new partners. Kate and Claire are also committed to supporting others in the industry in creative and interesting ways.

In June 2026, an engagement related business trip to St. John, New Brunswick was used to capture candid moments of work and play. Friend and photographer, Kanchan Maharaji, agreed to support with a creative photo shoot demonstrating the genuine love for Take’s work and enthusiasm for working together.
